Turn it around and ask yourself; How is it that the second, “strongest,” armed services on the planet have not yet taken Ukraine? Try not to give away the fact that you’re crying by typing a, “🤣,” emoji or the phrase, “lol,” in your answer? As that only gives away your obvious sense of impotent rage . . . You may turn over your paper and start writing now . . .

I get the sense that Russia must know they’re being baited to stretch their resources into the north and away from the real coming action in the south, but they will be panicking anyway, because they know that if they refuse to bite, they will see bigger, deeper excursions inside their own territory. And it will only get worse. I wonder how many of those roughly 1,000,000 young Russian men who fled conscription might be considering signing up for this Russian breakaway army? At least making enquiries must be worth doing? . . . ✌️🇺🇦🇬🇧

@groot6830 : Nah, he’s just making excuses for why he wasn’t able to stroll into Bakhmut in one week and, doubtless, countless other private promises he’s given Putler and since broken. He never says anything that could be construed as anti-Putin, or anti-status quo in Russia. And the likelihood of Ukraine offering The Butcher of Bakhmut a job as a septic tank cleaner in their own country, under any circumstances, is about as likely as them offering Putin Zelensky’s whilst making Shoigu their ambassador to NATO. Prigozhin just worries that even in the Sudan he’s likely to have a big target on his back, with bounties being offered (discretely) by both East and West.

@jacqdanieles : He may be getting lead up the garden path with false offers by someone? But I can promise you, it isn’t Ukraine. I shared my speculations with groot, for what it’s worth, which is very little in such a fluid situation.

@jacqdanieles : Wagner was himself a rabid anti-Semite long before the term, “Nazi,” had been invented, to such an extent that he would make the other anti-Semites blush, even in circles where it was fashionable. That’s why the west was so incredulous to begin with, thinking that Putin’s claims of, “denazification,” were just his way of trolling the west. It has been a real eye opener as to the sheer depth of Russian national ignorance that such blatant contradictions like that Wagner Group can even exist, let alone become Putin’s premier meat bucket. But, this is in a country where private military outfits are outlawed by their, “constitution.” Yet everybody who is anybody in Russia has their own paramilitary protection outfit on the payroll. There are, quite possibly, more private military personnel in Russia right now than there are government military!

Poland has always known they’re on Putin’s list, but they have also been loudly warning the west about Putin since forever. They currently spend a whopping 5% of their GDP on their armed forces and have been Ukraine’s most generous benefactor by far. Their attitude is: “Ukraine are fighting our war for us anyway, so let’s make sure they win it.”
