I had a hell of a time trying to explain these basic principles of how the Patriot system works on CNN’s YouTube channel, after looking it up myself, because so many people were refusing to believe simple things like, “It’s not one Missile loaded onto a jeep!” Both Pro and anti-Putinistas seemed to struggle with this and I just started referring them to you, or telling them to look it up for themselves in the end. Therefore, I was so heartened to see your further disambiguation today, and want to thank you for that. I know that the nukes you worked with in your time must have been worlds apart from Patriots, but you’re the only ex-Missileer (did I spell that right?) I know of, let alone know of on YouTube. The more I read about Patriot systems, the more, “blown away,” I was. A truly awesome technology. I’m wondering if more discussion about these technicalities might be crowd pleasers? More importantly, I’m wondering if a better understanding of what Ukraine is asking for, and why, might help people when they write to their representatives asking for more help for Ukraine?
