  1. There’s another insidious point here, that’s being overlooked. By charging these people extra cash for receiving NHS care, isn’t that overlooking the contributions they already make to the National Insurance scheme that literally EVERYONE who earns a wage pays? Apart from the fraud of charging the most vulnerable twice for the same thing, this is actually one more step toward normalising private payments for healthcare. One more step in Tory Stealth Privatisation of the NHS!
