  3. It’s not even on the same issue. Green energy is an investment. It’s a way for governments and industry to make serious money, and fast, but it requires taking on vested fossil fuel interests, which is politically dangerous. This guy is right. Russia only understands the language of might, not right. Russia’s economy is on the point of collapse, with them having thrown their last buckets of cash on the big push before Trump’s inauguration. They’re desperate enough (Putin is) to try anything short of self destruction. We should impound their ships as the Finns did. We can examine their tech, debrief their spies and exchange them for westerners being held in Russia, whilst auctioning off the ship to a democratic country, using the profits for examination, repairs and increased security of the under sea cables we rely on now.

Yes, rearmament is cheaper than letting the Russians take us down with them. When are politicians going to get it?
