  1. That’s not who the Tories collectively plan to, “target,” though, is it? What worked for Thatcherism back in the day, is what they hope will work now: Stigmatising the poor. You hear the clue in your caller’s observation. It’s the only place they can find the bribes, kickbacks, squandering and theft, out of the pockets of the most vulnerable; the disabled, the unemployed and, of course, the mentally ill.
