  1. I just don’t get what the, “crime,” was supposed to be? “Videoing a protester”??? What? Videoing ANYTHING in a public place is not a crime . . . Is it? Let alone, failing to even ask her if she had or not? Who is the witness? The right to face your accuser is enshrined in law. What she should do is force them to prosecute, so she can bring out all the details at the greatest possible cost in time and resources to the justice system and the police, so as to highlight the utter absurdity of what they did, the sheer bullying it took and the horrific implications of what this means to our justice system!

  2.  @Being_Jeff  : Isn’t that up to us to make changes in the law, by pressuring our politicians? The issue is not about the financial cost, but if that’s all you care about, think of the deterrent effect that squashing such ludicrous behaviour on the part of the police will have and the huge costs to the tax payer that will save. Besides, she can sue them privately, once she establishes that they acted against police policy and the law. All citizens are responsible for their own crimes in law. And the Nuremberg Defence, as shown by history, does not save people from consequences, or absolve them from responsibility, so saying, “We were only following orders,” is no defence if the orders were illegal.

  3. Hang on? . . . You were arrested for being witnessed by someone else, “having videod a protester.” What, “crime,” we’re you supposed to have committed? I simply don’t get it? I mean, even if you refuted the claim, so what if you did video something in public? Anything in a public place? What crime? 🤷‍♂️
