  1. Ahh, but isn’t that Sunak’s problem, Professor Wilson? Micro-management is an expression of paranoia, after all. How can an utterly untrustworthy man, who owes his position to betrayal and skullduggery, ever believe that he can let others around him just get on with it and protect his interests? He knows he wouldn’t in their place. To snub any European power at a time when we so desperately need to win back trust and partnerships is obviously egregious. But it probably feels like the smaller price to pay for self protection, by not leaving the kids to play out of sight? Now the German and French premiers get to say, “Well, I would show up to visit you but, would you even be guaranteed to show up? Sorry, I’m just too busy to risk wasting my time.” Well done, Richie. Was it worth it?
