Just imagine if the police were investigating a fraud and the suspects started saying, “Well, we’ll sift through all the evidence and hand over what is relevant, but you don’t need to decide that for yourself, or actually, ‘investigate,’ anything.” . . . 😮? . . . Any onlooker would be astounded at the sheer gall of this person! Especially when that suspect turns to the onlooker and says, “That will be half a million quid, please? Oh, didn’t I tell you? Yes, you’re paying for my lawyers. I didn’t like the state appointed ones; not bent enough. No, you don’t get any say in the matter. You were just unlucky enough to have been born into the same country as me. Not sure why you’re suddenly so indignant, since I’ve been raiding the tax payer’s pockets for years now?” . . . 😮🤦‍♂️
