  1. I don’t see how, “grey,” dull and boring would be so bad if it meant making logical, well informed, rational decisions in the interests of the electorate. Personally, I’m heartily sick of what passes for, “colour,” and, “personality,” in our public affairs. And we have yet to meet one single politician with a big personality who hasn’t proved to be either morally bankrupt or plain corrupt. Usually it’s both. Give me dull politics every day of the week.

  2. Of course our problems won’t magically disappear once the Tories are out. I just hope Labour gets to keep reminding Sunak he said that. It takes far longer to repair broken things than it takes to break them in the first place.

  3. General election 2.0? . . . Errr . . . Who sold us Brexit if not the Tories? Not the Lib Dems. Not Labour. The worst you got from Labour was a little agnosticism from the top, which was Corbin at that time. Johnson had no vision for Brexit. Remember his two articles for the magazines? One for, one against? I do.
