@RodWilliams-m7r : I’m speaking purely subjectively. If you don’t vote, your views on politics are irrelevant to, “me.” But I know I’m not alone in thinking this way, as most logical adults will reach the same conclusion, syllogistically.

@RodWilliams-m7r : I’m not sure what you mean? Voting really matters. It’s a privilege that we’ve literally fought world wars to protect and that people have made the ultimate sacrifice for. We have the right to choose our government and replace them if we don’t like them. That’s what makes a country worth living in, in my view. Not voting is not some form of, “passive resistance.” It’s just passive. It’s wasteful and it’s precisely what people like Putin want. It’s a responsibility and a debt that we owe to those who gave all they had so that we have the right to squander our privileges.
