  1. To your title question, we can only hope so. Durov is not a related case at all, really. Both have taken secret cash from the Putin regime, but I think Durov is an actual Russian, “spook.” The best outcome I could imagine for Twitter would be if the US government bought it up and installed an independent body to run it as a government service. I don’t really want to see Musk arrested for his mismanagement of Twitter. But, I don’t doubt he would be guilty of lots of things, should his financial shielding ever be lifted.
