I’ve worked some of the toughest public, “service,” jobs imaginable until I literally cracked up under the stress and had a stint in a mental hospital (which was also a frightening eye opener) and I’ve never really, fully recovered from the frustration, isolation and hopelessness that engendered in me as to the worthlessness of humanity. People like Mick Lynch give me hope. I see a man who cares about his fellow travellers on this brief journey we call life. A man who is actively trying to help others and take all the belittling and humiliation from his enemies, so that others don’t have to. He has a servant heart which fills my own broken vessel with just that tiny bit more hope. He should be on the honours list, which would be hilarious too.

  3. Isn’t that PRECISELY what a, “government,” is FOR? Isn’t that WHY we elect them? So that we can pay a small group of people to sort out all the crap we either can’t or don’t want to have to deal with? The difference is that we VOTED for our government. No one elected Piers, “Grima Wormtongue,” Morgan, though! Why does HE of ALL the shittiest examples of wasted tissue and organs get to tell us ANYTHING about how to live our lives? Oh, that’s right: because that’s what the rich entitled people pay him for. Dude, F*CK Piers Morgan. 🙄✌️

The most, “political,” thing you can do today (next to voting in a general election) is to organise a product boycott. The bigger the boycott, the more politically powerful you are. Ponder that? . . .

I’m a conservative (with a small, “c,”) by inclination, but I’ve been DRIVEN to the left by all of the lies, fecklessness and entitlement of these incompetent, fundamentally broken sociopaths failing to run our country, even with their slimy tentacles upon the levers of power! 12 YEARS of this sh*t should have been enough for even the most egregiously hostile, “anti,” whatever-ist to get it by now: These goons are NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE, let alone fit for office! I gave my binmen a Christmas tip this year. Not huge. Just enough for the three of them to have a couple of rounds on me, a grateful recipient of their invaluable services who appreciates the fact that there are people out there willing to do things for me that I would literally hate to have to do for myself: i.e. clean away my crap. One of them LITERALLY CRIED! His life is a story of desperation, lurching from one debt to another food bank, to a debt counsellor, to another crisis! It sounded like a nightmare! Yet he was still here, taking my sh*t away for me. And, much to my shame, I have to confess that, if I’d known that a small act of generosity was going to open up this can of worms in the first place, I probably wouldn’t have done it. Out of sheer Britishness and terrified desire to avoid all outward expressions of human emotions. I wasn’t sure it would even be taken in the spirit by which it was intended, but I hadn’t expected an outpouring of gratitude and a tearful response! My point, I guess, is that all about us, wherever we look, there are people moving about inside their own stoic clouds of hardship and quiet desperation. It doesn’t take much to trigger an outpouring from these clouds and, if someone comes along with the correct formula of words, able to reach a large audience, all these little clouds are going to gather up in a cumulonimbus of righteous anger and frustration, and tear it all down. I worry about stuff like that. And it’s upsetting to think that everyone I see is suffering that bit more because of the sheer greed and heartless, out-of-touch, tone deaf, idiocy of the politicians in charge.
