Upper Echelon Gamers : Another really penetrating piece, there. And, I couldn’t agree more, that the wave of backlash should build, rather than quiet down. These dodgy, buyable, gaming journalists simply want to feel important, by, “influencing,” games, before they even get in our hands. Rock Paper Shotgun was either hired to do their hit-piece, or just so arrogant that they believe they have the right to shape our world, before we get to experience it. Love your work 👍

Upper Echelon Gamers : John Walker makes me want to show an act of faith, tempting me to Pre-Order Cyber Punk, now. I won’t, but, if I ever did, it would be this one, now. Walker’s obvious CONTEMPT for gamers, calling us names, and generally pissing all over people’s trust and enthusiasm, is so contemptible, I suspect his editor told him, “You should never insult the people upon whom you depend, to make your living, son.”

Scoring57 : You’ve missed the point, entirely. The whole point is, this is a section of a game. You don’t KNOW how it’s going to turn out, or what the final portrayal of the characters will be. They offered some insight into the playability, to let us see what the game looks and feels like, is all. How many movies have you seen, where just one clip would mislead the viewer into thinking the exact opposite of a character’s motivations? The whole POINT is that NO ONE KNOWS what the, “portrayal of minorities,” is actually like in this game. They may not even BE the, “minority,” in the 2077 of this future? Has THAT occurred to you?
