Jux Zeil : Good point. Shares change hands every day, because of impulses, driven by fluctuations in the market. Studies show that logic is not the dictating factor in stock market activity. It always comes down to the, “crocodile brain,” and, “groupthink,” in the end. So, when people act en masse, and withhold their money, it can have a truly positive effect on future decisions. It is, after all, the ONLY “power” the consumer has, after making videos like this. But, most of us don’t have the time or skills for this quality of journalism, which leaves us with our wallets. I have had conversations with some of the makers of other consumer streams (Too Tall Desk, et al), but, no one, who makes these kinds of videos EVER responds to this simple question: Why not form an International Consumer Group, for Gamers? If someone, with the kind of, “pull,” that these guys have, were to form such a group, that, “Power of the Wallet,” would be a force to be reckoned with, right? Am I missing something? . . . ✌️

Upper Echelon Gamers : I’ve said this before, but it’s like the game discs are what the consoles used to be. Sell the hardware, at a loss, or to break even, then make money by selling content. I’d rather pay more and own what I bought, outright. Now, they’re cutting out the middle man, with downloadable games, saving a fortune, whilst making more money. People, just STOP buying the games of exploiters, or take the ripoffs and stop complaining! Is that just too logical? Act TOGETHER. Form a Consumer Group!
I don’t use Twitter, but I enjoy your YouTube content

Evito Cruor : But, the fact remains, that he’s not. Accepting voluntary donations is not, “micro transactions,” and it strikes me as unfair to use a term which has so much baggage, for UEG’s honest, straightforward practices. Personally, I dislike ALL micro transactions in gaming. I don’t care, if people like buying skins or cosmetics, but even they are likely to prey on the vulnerable. But, if they withhold content, unless you pay more, and you had no idea this would happen to you, that’s a rip off. But, until practices are aligned internationally, with a single code of practice, that will never change. In other words, that will never change. The only hope is that someone with an existing following, like this guy, or LegacyKillaHD, or one of those people, starts a Gamers Only International Consumer Group, with real muscle to put players off games or switch them on to others. But, that seems equally far fetched, too

Jux Zeil : I’m not thinking of, “ideals,” but cold hard logic. A lot of money could be made, honestly, by people working to represent the consumer. Just about every other group of consumers have their groups that work well. So, why not gamers? There’s nothing naive about any of that. There are examples galore, all over the planet, in every industry. You just need a good jumping off point. If this Upper Echelon guy did it, for example, with his following, or promoted a group, they could use their base to build a group up, easily (with hard work). The sort of difficulties you mention, are the same ones that ALL consumer groups face and surmount, daily
