That’s easily answered. He intends to abandon Kherson as indefensible; something he’s all but already done. And his, “face saving,” exercise, for when the Ukrainian troops enter the city in the Spring, is to have turned the entire place into a nightmare death trap theme park of booby traps and land mines. He is fighting like the Viet Kong did against the US in the Vietnam War because he has no money and is only able to stay in the fight due to Iran, North Korea and China’s covert offerings. But even the Viet Kong had a mandate and were fighting on their own turf. All Putin has left is spite and impotent rage. We should bomb the Kremlin while he’s giving a live speech from there and fund a Russian Revolution. Then we would be better off.
