Fun fact for you, I’d only ever heard of Kanye because he was linked to the Kardashian’s (whom I always thought were the baddies in Star Trek) and only found out he was a singer about two years ago. If Bill Burr hadn’t done a monologue about him I wouldn’t even know who he is! I genuinely couldn’t name a single song of his. I guess that just makes me old and out of the loop, but it has only taken me 10 minutes on Google to find out that his anti-Semitism has been well known for about a decade, so WTF were ADIDAS THINKING when they hired him?

  2. A Passionate Nerd. : Or maybe the world has just started to notice? Seems to me like he’s worn his mental illness on his sleeve since he became a public figure? At least, looking back at old news stories about him seems to be a catalogue of outrageous comments and actions by him, with almost no one ever talking about his music.

  3. Rather well expressed comment there. They hired a palpably raving narcissist with a God complex and didn’t see his abuse of their reputation coming? I guess that serves them right, as they were either knowingly attempting to exploit a mentally ill person, or just didn’t care about the morality of hiring a known anti-Semite. I heard that last night, the CEO of ADIDAS lost his arm in an incident where he’d slid across his carpet and then gripped a metal door handle. He was heard to scream, “This is the most shocking day ever!”
