They probably already have, through their diplomatic, “channels.” We only see the half of what goes on. That’s why the Russian army is constantly being surprised at losing ammo caches, bridge infrastructure and generals.

I said in another comment, “Let us all HOPE that Putin is so DUMB that he would try to invade Poland!” It sure would be good news for the western military.

@play-doughsrepublic5121 : Last time I checked, Poland is spending a whopping 5% of GDP on their military, with huge public support. That’s why they have so much equipment to donate to Ukraine, as their tech and armour is the latest and best. But it’s also because Poland openly states that they see Ukraine as fighting their war anyway, as they know they are next on Putin’s list. As Putin’s desperation increases, he has been casting about for a false flag operation. Nothing that would be considered anything more than laughable to western eyes and ears, but something he can sell to his brainwashed population. He’s run out of convicts and students or peasants from the outlying regions of his empire and now needs a, “patriotic pretext,” for dipping into the the populations of Moscow, St Petersburg and other urban areas. The whole Wagner mutiny was sparked over Prigozhin’s public complaints about not getting enough, “ammunition,” which was code for, “not having enough expendable cannon fodder in human form,” that he can overwhelm enemy positions with a casualty rate above 80%. Easy to do when you execute a few dissenters and then tell them they’re being monitored via drones, which will bomb your unit if you retreat or surrender. Everything I see out of Russia now looks like growing desperation to me. And that includes this recent (probably short lived?) surge in Russian troll and chat-bot activity. Slava Ukraine! 🇺🇦🔱🇬🇧

Ironic that Putin is acting like he thinks Poland would be the ones to attack anyone, when he cannot even control Wagner himself. They’re STILL openly defying his orders to join the regular army. Wagner could easily attack Poland while Putin is begging them not to.

@F16_viper_pilot : That would be Prigozhin then? The mere fact that he’s still alive after HUMILIATING Putin so completely, and the fact that the Wagnazis are still openly defying Putin’s orders, tells us that Putin is not the one in charge anymore. Not completely, at any rate.
