Germany’s money dealings outstripped the rest of the world’s by many, many billions of dollars and now they’ve slammed the door on resuming any of that. The Nordstream deals alone have been enriching German politicos and executives for the past 20 years. What else (other than Abrams tanks) did America have to compensate them with?
