LegalEagle : I know it’s not a, “proper,” court, as such, but the big, “legalistic,” confrontation (climax) from The Scent of a Woman, with Al Pacino, at his fiery BEST, defending a hapless student. It would also be really fascinating to know, is this process a legally binding one? One in which the decisions made will change the futures and lives of the students concerned? It would be a great scene to work with? 🙂✌️

Adam Singer : Y’know, I agree. Just like the Breaking Bad episode, when they take Saul out to the desert, and he ends up talking them into hiring him. Using pseudo self-justification, denial and EPIC sweet talk, he goes from being threatened with death, to having them put a dollar each, in his pocket, so they can have Attorney-Client Privilege. Pretty funny. But, that scene you’re talking about? Like you said, “EPIC.” He actually uses his legal training, a sort of Biblical line, and a bunch of desperate thinking on his feet, to take them through a kind of, “Judicial Process,” with the punishment fitting their, ahem, “crimes.” Weird and wonderful to behold; but, with some genuine legal foundation that would be fascinating to process through this filter. I agree with you 👍
