That’s the perfect observation. It kind of nails it. Thank you. It’s just baiting, lazy, ignorant headline grasping. I hope they don’t change the game at all. Maybe the ads, for sure. But the game is not racist and should not pander to the shrill voices of an ignorant minority who have never even played the damned thing.

@NetBattler : Why is it, I wonder, that the ignorant are always so ironic? The one thing that would have stopped that article from being published in the first place would have been if the editor at IGN had just a little, “common sense.”

IGN is either deliberately trying to misrepresent this game, or just didn’t play it and are writing from a position of total ignorance. Either way, they are adding to the problem of division in society. You can even argue that their ignorance about the culture from which the game was generated shows to the point of ethnic insensitivity or downright racism. Muta mentions the homogeneity of Japanese culture, which is ignored (or unknown to this hack?) by this, “journalist,” and doesn’t give any credit to how Japanese eyes might view civil wars on the African continent. But ethnic cleansing is a reality to this day in African countries, as it is in Europe and the Middle East. It’s just baiting, lazy, ignorant headline grasping. I hope they don’t change the game at all. Maybe the ads, for sure. But the game is not racist and should not pander to the shrill voices of an ignorant minority.
