  1. Yet another none entity cashes in on the memory of a none entity who had the magical power to sell newspapers merely by having her picture appear on the front cover. At best this none-news story will be a misinterpretation of her plans to base herself in America, which would have been a smart move for such an emotionally shallow and needy person as Dianna. She would have been adored by the Americans and, when the news cycles turned against her, as they inevitably would have, she could just flee to one of the other multiple homes in a more welcoming country, until the Americans regretted their fickleness and made overtures for her return. But to conflate that with abandoning her children is like saying a Hollywood actor abandons their children every time they film a movie abroad for two months. It’s a small world when you’re rich and, given that the norm is to pack your children off to boarding school anyway, I doubt anyone would have noticed where Dianna was domiciled, other than the tax man. What a hard bitten chiselling world we live in.

  2. Exactly. When you have the kind of money and fame that Dianna had, what difference does it honestly make where your address technically is? The only person who notices is the tax man. When the boys were packed off to boarding school, did it matter to them what country they spoke to her on the phone from? Somehow, this none story, from a none entity, cashing in on the restless memory of, “The Queen Of Hearts,” smells sour and cheap to me.
