I hope Zelensky kicks Putin out of his country and wins the Nobel Prise! Best premier alive today and I envy the Ukrainians that. I am urging our government to do far more. Sanctions only work when they’re NOT the ones they were expecting anyway! Kick out ALL Russian businesses and seize their assets. Pay off any losses from those and use the rest to fund the Ukrainian people’s war against the tyrant Putin! That’s what I am DEMANDING from my government. And I’m making it clear that this is an election issue! If we all do that, they will have to listen!

@coolmark4851 : Russians only know what they’re getting from outside of Russia. Putin banned yet another TV station yesterday, for reporting the truth about Russian casualties on the front lines. If he was the one telling the truth, why would he ban news papers and TV stations at all? Not to mention jailing journalists and murdering them? No one in their right mind believes PooTin. He calls Zelensky a, “Nazi,” because he’s too pig ignorant to even know Zelensky is JEWISH! He’s an IDIOT, like a Russian trump! The people of Russia might well depose him, as they came close to it about a year ago, and I hope they do for all our sakes.

The Russian people need to rise up and depose Putin, like they almost did last year. He’s only doing this because the economy is broken and he knows his people are going to go back to mile long cues for a loaf of bread! He wants to, “blame,” western sanctions on their starvation, instead of his own theft, murder and jailing anyone who has money and disagrees with him!

@creativebeetle : I don’t doubt you. But I just don’t want the issue to become about him as much as I hope we focus on the plight of Ukraine. Zelensky might be the only world leader who’s actually worth something, here? He’s literally willing to die, fighting on the streets, for his country! I can’t picture any western leader with his courage, ability, honour or sheer elan. I hope we don’t lose the last leader in the free world whom we could all admire?

Helen R : They almost overthrew him a year or so ago, remember? Mass protests, because he and his cronies are living large while they are getting poorer. And that’s what this whole Ukraine show is really about. We all think we’re about to feel the economic sting of the coming rises in gas and food, but Putin knows his people will starve! At least a large proportion of them are about to face poverty, and he’s casting about in a panic, remembering how disgusted they are about his wealth, so his excuse will now be, “We’re at war, so get behind me. And you’re poor now, because of western sanctions. The west is bad.” It won’t work. No matter how many TV stations and newspapers he shuts down in Moscow. He closed another TV network yesterday I believe. How many is that now? If he was the one telling the truth, why does he lock up and assassinate journalists, I wonder?
