  6. The, “court of public opinion,” find Erik Conover guilty of being mentally ill, at best. I suspect that this is what he’s attempting to manipulate the public (and a future jury or judge) into buying? Otherwise, the deliberate attempt to crush a cop with your car is a slam dunk Attempted Murder guilty verdict. Then again . . . This is America, where justice is for sale and the patently guilty walk free out of courtrooms every day.

  7. If only all of law enforcement was so swift, diligent and honourable as this. It is the very act of taking so seriously that which many would look upon as a minor infraction that stops the rot. Consider how many unjust beatings, unnecessary or outright false arrests and thefts get winked at by police unions and police superiors. Then ask yourself if such occurrences would be likely to even happen under the watch of sheriffs like this one?

  8. For some, it’s as casual and easy as breathing. Hard to believe unless you encounter it. Having worked with people suffering mental illness in a previous life, I’ve seen that it’s way more common than you might think. After all, isn’t that what entire political careers are made from in America? The Jan 6th riots at the Capitol were a direct result of just such lies.
