The life expectancy of pre-colonial American Indians was generally considered to be around 40 years, significantly lower than the white population due to factors like exposure to diseases, harsh environmental conditions, and limited access to healthcare. In the early European American colonies, life expectancy was around 65–70 years, which was 15–20 years longer than in England. ...and there you have it.

Our men were no match for a female Neanderthal.

Not exactly. The Neanderthals and Denisovans were at one time more advanced than the Homosapiens were, at least from what we think we know now. They had art, language, clothing, jewelry, and they buried their dead (possibly indicating religion) long before any indication that Homosapiens did.

@BrandonMCDonald-x3f There is NO trace of humans in the Americas older than 14,000 years ago, but for the sake of argument, I'll give you 20k, and that's not even 1/10th of the human existence.

Jesus did not exist at the beginning of time. He was half human.

@kevinkant6817 It would explain why they didn't survive with their pure genes intact.

@caseygood6985 The first photograph was from 1826. You were saying?

@BrandonMCDonald-x3f There are no natives to north America.

@choosecarefully408 Get your analogy straight... Since you claim he was a carpenter, that would make him Geppetto. But he wasn't a carpenter, Joseph was. You could try to consider him Pinocchio since Joseph was a carpenter, but no one consiers Joseph his father. It's like you're not even trying.

@choosecarefully408 No problem!

@captainamericaamerica8090 ...and you base that on what exactly?

The Neanderthals had art, religion, language, and clothing. They do seem to think that they used male homosapiens for food and the females for breeding. Strange times...

It's believed that the Neanderthals ate our males and used the females for breeding, not the other way around. Hilary Crystal Clinton would have eaten you.

@wyihupoip8105 Neanderthals had art, language, clothing, jewelry, and religion. They were bigger, stronger and lived in groups that cared for injured people until broken bones healed. Some of their advances were before ours.
1
@wyihupoip8105 Most modern humans have between 1 and 4% Neanderthal DNA. When the Neanderthals disappeared, we almost did too. Our population collapsed to roughly 1000 individuals. There are other factors besides intelligence that will dictate who survives, like available recourses and geography for example.

@WestCoastAthletic Yeeeaaaaaahhh, there wasn't a lot of indoor plumbing back then to shower if they wanted to.

There is no, i repeat, no DNA original to the Americas. None. If there was DNA here that couldn't be found anywhere else in the world, you might have a leg to stand on. But you dont.

@markyuresko1346 The DNA still exists in small numbers of their descendants. That's how we know they originally were Eurasians.
