  11. Josef K you want context? I'll give you context. More people are killed with knives in the United States than firearms. The knives that people are killed with are kitchen knives the type used for cutting vegetables. The days of people having long swords and cutlasses have long past but that doesn't exclude the knife as a deadly weapon. You can tell the police that the knife in your pocket is for cutting vegetables but if it's over more than a few inches they're going to arrest you.
