NO Biden said years ago that what did happen is exactly what would happen if it was handled the way it was. He did it anyway. He couldn't have changed timelines made months ago by someone else? Seriously? You can't blame Trump for the decisions that are made after him. He certainly didn't leave step by step directions that Biden was obligated to follow. Any moron can adapt and pivot with a given situation.... ...except Biden.

It changes and at times it goes too far, when that happens the pendulum/society eventually swings back to a point where most people want to live only to go too far in another direction. The issue is whether you think they are ruling the way you want them to or not. When you don't like the ruling = activist. When you like the ruling = constitutionally sound. Face it. The SC is ruling on some issues that are not addressed by the founders. History and tradition is no magical litmus test when the SC is deciding on issues like abortion (this is only an example and i dont wish to shift the conversation) because it was not an issue the founders could have forseen. If the SC could only use history and traditions, they would need to refuse to hear half of their cases because they have no one's past opinions to base their decisions on. They are chosen to form opinions, and at times, they don't get it right. It's not a perfect system, and we try to offset that by having opinions from multiple justices. The majority opinion wins. Pretend you're a SC justice... The founders acknowledge that citizens have the God-given right to any and all weapons of war. Would you have been ok with people like the Branch Davidians having had access to nuclear weapons? Or are you ok with infringement? No matter which side of this you stand on, someone will call you an activist.
