@icin4d Who is going to refine your oil? Where do you think thst federal aid went? Oil! The US economy would crash in less that 3 weeks without their fuel. Texas has a growing economy and it's not because the federal government is propping it up. The federal government was in Texas removing barriers placed by Texas to keep invaders out. More of your "federal aid"... No military bases? Why not? It's not like they would let you in to take all your toys and go home. Any state divided from the rest would look like Somalia eventually, but it would take much longer for Texas than say, California who is already in decline and essentially bankrupt.

@PipoBones I am absolutely not against immigrants crossing the border. They should have a legitimate need to be here or or bring with them special skills or abilities that will benefit us. I am against unchecked waves of people crossing outside of the ports of entry. Child sex slaves, drugs ( mostly fentanyl), and people who want to destroy this country can and are coming through. It's a matter of time before it affects you too, if it hasn't already. We spend far too much money feeding and housing the small percentage of those we catch, only to release them into the country to never be seen again. The homeless/ drug problem could be all but fixed with what we spend. We have a process to become a citizen and the people who do it the right way for the right reasons don't want this country to become like the countries they left. Onece again, there is nothing wrong with immigration, but what we have now is practically an open border. It's not going to produce a good outcome. Diversity alone is not a strength, unity and common goals are. They aways have been regardless of who or what you are or where you came from. See, no zombies...
