All the government needs to do is let them treat those whose mental state prevents their self-acceptance of the diagnosis. The government got out of mental health and then tied the hands of hospitals and doctors by treating these people as sane.

I'll tell you what, I'll give up all my guns (even the one my late FIL bought at school and brought home on the bus 80+ years ago) when you can see into the future and state with certainty that I will never need them. I am an older man with an older wife, I have a disability that prevents me from defending myself from the AVERAGE person. Our home has already been burglarized, what if it happens again and we are home when it does? Sure I could call the police, but they are an average of 10-15 minutes away. It not that I love my guns more than my fellow man, it's that I love my wife more than criminals. You want to make new laws but it seems that you don't understand why we have the society we do. I'll pretend I'm you... Ukraine is trying to throw off an oppressive force right now using guns in the hands of anyone who can fire them. Just say you love Russia more than freedom (and the weak/old fellow man). Guns are not the problem, allowing children and the mentally impaired to do what they want and validating every feeling is far and away the much bigger problem. Tell me why children with guns shooting up schools has not always been the problem it is??? What is different now????

  21.  @Anthony-pj4io  You must know that a felony was committed to make a citizens arrest. It seems like Gage should have arrested himself for felony possession of a firearm first. Gage said it himself, Kyle thought he was being attacked, that makes his use of the firearm justified and a citizens arrest at that point would have been an illegal use of force.

Visual media allows you to come to a conclusion, the auditory media gives you the conclusion that they want you to have by reinforcing what they want you to think is important. (rhetorical question) Why does he hate whites? From what origin is he experiencing wrongs that make him react with anger and violence? He perceives wrongs to him and the society he identifies with because he is/they are black. If the crux is race issues, then mentioning race is appropriate and is not "race baiting". "burst bubble" The input from new information has lead you to a different perspective = burst bubble. Maybe It wasn't me who actually burst it, but the sequence of this thread does more to support my opinion that it's burst, than yours that it's not. You were wrong, life goes on.

For anyone else there is a process (like Biden as a senator OR as a vice-president). For Biden it was undoubtedly a crime. Nice try though. Keep swinging. Almost anyone can be president as there are very few prerequisites. Biden (for example) was never the best or at the top of anything in his entire life, and yet after multiple attempts, he got the job. He was a poor student who should have been kicked out of school for plagiarism. Most people just don't want it, or they want it for the wrong reasons. Take Obama, for example. What else was he going to do....
