Durring WWII, Japanese schoolchildren helped with the war effort of their country in various ways (as did American schoolchildren). Were they innocent, collateral damage? The world is not black and white. It's easy to condemn an action after the fact, it's much more difficult to prove solutions when you can't be positive of the outcome.

  15.  @Wumbo57  lol Pregnancy is not cancer. Most states will eventually limit or ban abortion, and half of them already have. We are not a democracy but a constitutional republic. The more you know... If you want an abortion, vote. If you know its wrong, vote. The representatives that we vote for and place in power will make the laws we want or they will be voted out to make room for ones that will. That is the way we are designed to operate. The federal government was not supposed to have the absolute power over the states that they have claimed for themselves. The majority of the SC understands this.

  17.  @3Dsusan  Jesus, you're not very smart, are you. The people have decided. The SC kicked the decision to allow or to not allow abortions back to the states. The representatives that your state voted for made laws and those laws are now back in effect. Now if you don't like the laws in YOUR state, elect different representatives or realize that you are not in line with the majority of people. The SC said it's not a right. It never was a recognized right and if your state wasn't prepared for that, you should have elected different representation.

Also, pistols are typically geared for self defense and not well suited to hunting (which many 18 year olds do) or for war. Statistically, rifles are MUCH less likely to be used in illegal activity and death. ...but... 18 year olds are adults and the whole reason for the 2nd amendment is to have the ability to overthrow a tyrannical government. We regularly send 18 year olds to war/battle. If they are old enough for that, they are old enough to have the tools to fight a battle (God forbid they need to). If you try to remove the ability to force our government (when it becomes overly corrupt) to change or restore rights, you have taken the steps that make the use of arms necessary. You don't own men at 18, 19, or 20, and you are not their caretaker. They are adults. Adolescents have owned arms for centuries and the action of school shootings is a relatively new occurrence. It's not the weapon that has changed, it is the idea that these types of actions are a logical step, it is society that has changed.

Zacarias Moussaoui was charged with terrorism (along with 4 others who were involved), as all of the hijackers who died would have been had they survived. Have you been living under a rock? Seriously, where have you been for all of this? Let me guess, you weren't alive or you weren't old enough to have any first hand knowledge of 9-11, and yet you call me a kid. What government agency has declared the events of Jan 6th or people involved in it as terrorists/terrorism? Focus on Jan 6th instead of 9-11 in you can.

  34.  @AnnieinKC  No reasonable person would expect a psychologist to make $200k a year. I have a nephew who went for the same worthless degree. He works in a factory now because the world does not need an army of psychologists. That is why you need to pay for your own education. It's stupid to risk the high possibility of no job availability after getting your degree, and then expecting others to pay for your recklessness. Kids are getting degrees that there is no demand for. I'm not going to pay for that.
