The conservative and majority of votes were split between HW Bush and Ross Perot, leading to the undivided liberal votes going to Bill Clinton, giving him the presidency. Perot knew it was going to happen and did it to snub HW because of their contentious history. There is a lesson in that.

  11.  @steelbill1834  It is a statement that you presented as "fact" and your position hinges upon it. I've heard lectures from people who you would consider "experts" and they don't fall lockstep into one climate theory. So the "97%" is completely meaningless and is only touted by lemmings and school children. They yell CO2, but durring the slowdown from covid-19 the CO2 production fell and yet the earth is still warming. That should be a giant red flag. The problem I have with the models that are used as proof (not you have provided any, so you force me to assume what you use as support) is that they fail to predict the future and they fail to reconstruct the past. Another red flag. Until they can provide one, it is nothing more than a "best guess" and not fact. I trust in the more likely theory that it has more to do with ozone depletion, weakening and changing magnetic fields, solar cycling (mostly the sun), and normal fluctuations in climate. Don't forget that other planets are warming at the same rate as ours. I only called you out on the 97% because you shouldn't have used it in a serious conversation. That's my position.
