  2. ​ @catlady6464 My son is a veteran and works for the federal government. Trust me, it's the temps and the unnecessary employees. His job is secure because his job is necessary.

  3. @barnetra  If that's true, why don't you know it's not called Schedule F? If they are already short staffed because people don't want the job, you're looking at the wrong side of the aisle. If they were let go due to Schedule Career/Policy, it was for cause. If they quit, that was their decision.

  5. ​ @catlady6464  The federal government does nothing for volunteer firefighters anywhere in America. They want only union firefighters which volunteers are not. Volunteers firefighters are roughly 3/4 of all firefighters. When I see a glimmer of concern for them, perhaps I'll start to care... May of them are also vets.

Every federal employee knows military service counts toward retirement. What should have been your history is 12 years military and 17 years Federal LEO, but that's not what you said.
