  3. Wrong. First of all, "price freezes" are unconstitutional and would not be upheld in court. Secondly, price freezes lead to merchants going out of business, and/or cause shortages. We are already experiencing shortages in many pharmaceuticals, consumer goods, even baby formula. Your suggestion would make things worse.
