@robertbrown1021 Pre-nup doesn'tmake sense for two people who are just starting out and in their twenties or so. But if you're older and on your second or third spouse, it does, brcause by that time you each have individually owned assets and kids from prior marriages. Simple as that. But first time around? No wsy.

The best way is for each party to get their own attorney for consultation, but to avoid having to go to court by working out an agreement between themselves, if possible. Hard to do, for sure. But grit your teeth, and remember your common inteterest in splitting the assets instead of giving them to your attorney(s)!
