  1. Don't buy a house, especially a first house, unless you pay cash for it. Then you can self-insure. And stop voting for all these LOCAL city and county government Democrats who ALWAYS vote to increase your property taxes!

  2.  @valsomeone2180 I prefer the way houses were constructed years ago. Much sturdier, especially the rafters.

  3. My grandparents built their house that way,then their brothers, who'd helped them build it, got the same help from them in building their own houses. Back in the 1920's FL.
