  7. FL "Hometown Heroes" is a program created strictly to bring in teachers, nurses, police, firefighters, etc. IOW, it is a way to attract the helping professions to FL that otherwise would not ordinarily be able to afford to buy a home here. IOW, a win-win situation, allegedly.
