  9. I've lived in same house in FL for 35 years, and most of my neighbors are carried out feet first, when they go. Most have been in same house as long as I have.

  10. Do what my grandparents did in the 1920's. When people built their own houses, with help of family--then pitched in to build for other family members. Of course, my grandfather and his brothers had skills in construction. (But so worth it.)

  11. There's always 100% school choice in FL. And if you prefer homeschooling, the school allottment is given to the parent to fund it.

  12. Don't wait too long. I waited too long to fix my roof, so it cost much more to replace rotted wood underneath when I finally did. Good luck. I'm a Senior citizen, too.
