State portion of property tax isn't that much higher. But any counties and cities run by Marxist Democrats ARE going much higher. I know, because I live in one (in N. FL), unfortunately. Gov. DeSantis, btw, LOWERED the state's budget from the previous years. PB County has been a Marxist stronghold (like all of S. FL) forever, and until you stop voting in Democrats to your city and county commissions, the wasteful spending will continue.
