  2. An insurance agent told me that 25 miles from a coast is considered "coastal" and rates willbe higher than non-coastal. It's difficult to live in FL and be more than 25-30 miles from a coast, though!

  3.  @josephmessina3587 No, in my state (FL), the statutes require the insurance companies show just cause (the financials, IOW) before a rate increase can be granted. Which is different than for almost any other for-profit corporation, btw.

  7.  @SensSword Sorry, but I've had an Ego battery lawnmower for 4 years, and they are only a tiny bit less powerful (and more reliable and muchmore hassle-free to use) than a gas mower, which I used for years! And mine has headlights, so I can use it in the near-dark!

  8.  @janetyeoman1544 I'm a 72 year old woman who likes my Ego mower, after hassling with gas mowers for years. But I wouldn't buy a non-Ego mower.And their mowers are guaranteed for 5 years. They replaced mine, and my original battery is still going strong.
