  6. So wrong about insurance in FL. In order for insurance companies to get a rate increase approved, they must show that it is warranted ( proof of payouts exceeding income.). These are FL Dept. of OIR rules, exactly as they've always been. I'm in FL and am going bare, but I've never had any weather-related damage to my house on 34 years! Self-insurance is fine, unless you live on the coast, or in a flood zone. Cry me a river, Commie transplants who need to return to their northern and western gulags.

  25. I got news.., I don't like insurance companies, BUT they're no different than any other business like grocery stores, drug stores or anything else! THEY DO NOT HAVE TO EXIST. FL is not a Democrat tax-the-middle-class-more state in order to support the wealthy elites living on the coast or people choosing to live in flood zones. (Citizen's Property Insurance notwithstanding.)
