@chidebrown4420 Lobbying another body is hardly the same thing as being able to change it oneself. Or don't you understand even that difference? (You seem confused about everything else!) And as long as FL taxpayers are paying taxes for FEMA (which they are, unfortunately) why shouldn't they benefit when needed, especially as these "welfare subsidies" have unfairly shorted FL in the past. Ditto for SSA....or did you think Floridians somehow escaped paying SS, Medicare and FICA taxes? They're simply getting back what they paid in, so why SHOULDN'T they take their own money back? And again, you're confused about "welfare" vs. "Social Security". Fl hs a lot of retirees, but not an inordinate lot of "welfare queens" because SSI/AFDC payments in FL are on the low side. And don't worry, I have ALL the courage of my convictions. You only have the convictions of your delusions.

@ichemnutcracker Actually, if you read and understood the FL and US Constitutions, you'd realize he's simply being in compliance with the Supreme Law of the Land.

@chidebrown4420 Your reading comprehension is unusually poor. Did I say SSI is an actuarial retirement fund? Nope, just the opposite. SSI and SS benefits ARE TWO DIFFERENT ENTITIES, the former being welfare. The rest of your comments are incorrect and irrelevant. And if FL is a welfare haven, it's not a very generous one, LOL! Now your Nazicrat state...look up the AFDC and SSI benefits....THERE'S a welfare haven, for real.

Good point, but the Nuremberg Code decided in, what.....1947 or something?....that no medical experimentation could be forced on anyone. It's still good law, but the Nazicrats and their crony-corporations aren't following it, apparently.

@ichemnutcracker DeSantis isn't the "Supreme Leader" like you Nazicrats love to worship....Gov. Cuomo and Gov. Gruesome in CA, for example.
