  1. The two-seat open bed version of the JLTV is just sweet Polaris also makes an extreme light weight off road vehicle for airborn deployment. I'm curious if the Amry looks into something to replace the humvee in the back lines to reduce the fuel waste in theater.

  2. The humvee really wasn't supposed to be a tactical vehicle, it like the jeep was primarily a back line vehicle for light personelle and supply transport. The Humvee will still provide the back of the line support. The JLTV is too expensive for it to just be crashed by 18 year old's in stateside bases. I like the JLTV, however its a platform geared specifically for the wars in the Mideast, and may not be good for battlefields in Europe and Asia.
