  1. Israel's security lapse around Oct 8 was down to complacency and Israel just being sort of used to run of the mill attacks. But it was a major lapse. Usually hospitals get informed like the day if an expected attack and they're prepared, not for Oct 8. Once all is said and done Israel will do a major review of everything. Netanyahu will be forced to resign in disgrace because his political actions resulted in the mass retiring of senior IDF officials in protest weeks before the attack. Israel ignored numerous Intel reports from allies of a major attack. Heck Oct 8, is a date where a number of really bad things have happened to Jews and Israel for millenia.

  3. ​ @josephhajj835 Do you know why the areas is named Palestine, despite so many location names rooted in Hebrew? It's because Rome utterly destroyed Israel and the rebuilt Temple few decades after Jesus due to a Jewish rebellion. Some Jews remained in the area,and survived through all the trading if control over the millenia but the vast majority of Jews were scattered. Palestine is the Rome version of Phillistine, aka the historical enemies of Judea, that I don't believe survived to the present day, or even to the Roman era. Basically Rome wanted to mock Israel for daring to Rebel. The point is, that Prophecy can easily be considered fulfilled. However I dont put in much store is attempting to interpret prophecy. Invoking religion is exactly why there will never be peace. Peace requires compromise, and how can either side compromise if doing so is an insult to God? And on that note, the greatest religious freedom in the regions is found in Israel, the greatest gender equality is found in Israel. Large numbers of decades old socialist communes committed to peace? Also in Israel. Since Israel was founded, Jews were kicked out of Muslim majority countries in the region, despite having lived there peacefully for hundred of years. Where did they go? Israel. And before the October attack, Israel was politically fragmented. There were large fractions of the population dedicated to peace, and we're protesting the Israeli government. After Oct 8, many if those people in their grief want blood and to make sure that will never happen again.
