  1. Probably the best solution to inflation in a supply side crisis is not to hike rates (or at least not as much), it's to get the government engage into solving the shortages. E.g. subsidising energy production (solar panels, small wind turbines, batteries), or food production (short-term relaxation of visas for agricultural workers, local food production using fast super-intensive methods)
