  5. The argument about humans destined to eat meat due to our history still stands. But not because of some tradition, it's because our digestive system can't stand too much fiber and needs some animal products (really not much). The healthiest would be to go fish-vegetarian with only very occasional fish and lots of tubers, if your gut can stand this. And invest heavily in lab-produced fish and meat for the future

  29. Benefit fraud is not the same as tax fraud though. Taxes are taken from earnings, while benefits are given for nothing. It's right that benefits are enforced very strictly. Of course, it would be nice to one day enforce taxes as well, preferably by fully automating its collection (maybe possible in post-cash fully connected world), but with such a complex system, you need to give some leeway due to complexity

  30. I don't understand why vegans want everyone to go strictly vegan and not just drastically reduce their consumption of animal products. This seems like extremism to me. Strange, but veganism is correlated with being on the far left, Marxism and Corbyn. I think it's very authoritarian left.

  42. You can't ban the direction. You should have supported Covid passports precisely because they allowed to just present a proof of a negative test. Otherwise it just looked like you opposed Keir Starmer. I agree that compulsory vaccinations for medical staff are wrong. I would say extra tax on unvaccinated is justified in the sense that the unvaccinated are the ones taking spaces in the hospitals. In fact unvaccinated should be cared by the unvaccinated staff.
