Of course he would, everybody wants the best for their children, and private schools under current system are at a huge advantage and are much better than state schools. It doesn't mean that he doesn't want the system to change in a way that state schools are the same level as private. If this was to happen I'm sure he would send them to a state school

This statistics just shows that private schools work for the benefit of their students while other schools don't. Why don't state schools care about their students?

@geraldhewing2076 and your argument is...?

@timothyharris4708 yes, they do. Private schools do everything possible to get their students into universities. While state schools deliberately give grades that will disadvantage their students when entering universities. So state schools deliberately don't allow children go to university. They want them to go to vocational training rather than to university, or just to live on benefits.

@geraldhewing2076 to inflate grades, one doesn't need money

@geraldhewing2076 there were 2 years where teachers were allowed to put whatever grades they wanted (more or less). And private schools inflated them by approximately 10%, while state schools only by 5%. It doesn't depend on money, it only depends on teachers wanting to help their students to get better grades for university. Clearly, private schools teachers wanted to help, while state schools teachers didn't, even for free.

@geraldhewing2076 Grades in the last 2 years were teacher-assessed. So this part was completely free. The fact that state school teachers didn't inflate the grades to the same extent as private school teachers even though it cost them nothing just shows that they deliberately wanted to jeopardise their students success chances
