  1. If we had less people, then the individual share of the national cake would be larger. Also, why should people who are not nationals get any share at all? Sure, we can help people from Hong Kong and Ukraine, because Hong Kong has just been our colony, Hong Kongers are educated and rich, and have very Western culture and ethics, while Ukrainians are fighting for the whole Europe against Russia, so it's only logical we help their families. And that's why the majority of the population in the UK supports them coming here. But Afghanis and Syrians? Young men who instead of fighting against Taliban and Assad decide to come here? With their misogynist views and very aggressive attitude? Why should we accept them here against the wish of a large majority of the population?
