Northerners and provincials may be xenophobic, but not Londoners, the majority of whom are not English anyway. London is the most cosmopolitan and the least xenophobic city in he world (maybe sharing this title with New York)

@janbruin4662 I live in London and can vouch that English nationalists are a small minority. And they are usually hiding. A foreigner is way more likely to be harassed in Paris than in London.

@gavinhillick I've lived in London for 12 years (East London), and haven't seen any stabbings at all. And anyway, we are talking about being a foreign tourist. Tourists don't go to stabbing areas (rightly). In Paris there are areas where even police is afraid to go. In London council housing and regular housing are not segregated, so there are no such areas. Actually as far as I know many tourists from European countries don't like London because there are too many black people. My cousin and her husband live in Germany and they were visibly uncomfortable traveling on the tube crammed with so many suspiciously looking black and Asian people. And you call Brits racists!

@marilenaganea6578 actually great, we have too many people here as it is. It's impossible to social distance in parks. Foreigners or not, were are better off with less people. Hope many will go live in the countryside or abroad.

@postumus. Baden Wuerttemberg. They live in a small village and habitually see non-white people on TV. Except recently a lot of refugees were settled in the neighbouring village.

@postumus. I haven't seen any stabbings. It doesn't mean there are any. But they are not done by xenophobes towards tourists. It's mainly gangs settling score among each other

@gavinhillick you are ridiculous. They are not racists. They literally see black people only on TV. This is not racist. It's absence of exposure. I can imagine many Brits outside of London are in a similar position.
