  1. Phil, I like you, but you are wrong about the corporation tax. We should have as low corporation tax as possible (at the very least for smaller companies), but high tax for dividends and anything that is not investment into the country. Workers also get the benefit of the corporation tax cut, this way workers in the private sector can definitely demand higher wages and there is no excuse for companies who don't invest the saved money into something else

  2. Ireland has the lowest corporation tax in the EU, and there is no problem with it, they get a lot of business and employment as a consequence

  3.  @filougreendog  there is no point trying to make the money off corporations - to easy to avoid it. Taxes should apply to non-productive stuff: rents on extraction of resources, gold, art, land, dividends, imports. If we want to encourage business of course. If we want to kill and drive it away, then fine, put high taxes on business. Global corporation tax level of 15%, this should be enough, no point to go any higher
