  22. I'm afraid Nigel is wrong. What use is negotiating if one side is going to use any time given to it to gather more forces and start the war again in a bit? Zelensky might agree to negotiations, but it must be under the condition that he won't cede any territory or people. Otherwise Putin will take these people and turn them into soldiers against Ukraine, as he done with Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk. And Putin of course will demand territory that he hasn't invaded to be given to him as a price for a temporary peace
