Kanye is just a Trump kissup. I remember seeing his visit to the White House while Trump was in it and all he did was praise a bunch of stuff Trump did or was involved regardless of how it was turning out. Kanye didn't think about running as an independent to oppose Trump but likely out of thinking he could try to help Trump.

@LACYJEN1999 People are part of the discussion all the time without flagging. If you didn't then maybe someone else did. Regardless Kanye West still praised Hitler-and for Hitler's bigotry in specific.

@LACYJEN1999 Would do well to clarify which West early on. Funny thing, "genocide Joe" is likely to still be better for Palestinians than Trump-and 1 of those 2 people are going to who is President in 2025 due to the 2024 election. You may like Cornel West but he isn't a realistic choice on the ballot. Now if you don't live in swing state do whatever. If you do then how you vote matters a great deal.
